City of Gainesville Fire Station 3
Ajax has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the City of Gainesville’s new Fire Station 3, with the facility relocating from its original site at 900 NE Waldo Road to front NE Eighth Avenue between NE 14th Street and NE 13th Street. This fire station is a 19,615-sf facility consisting of 2-story living quarters and a 3 bay apparatus space with associated support areas. The structure will be concrete tilt wall with a standing seam metal roof over pre-engineered metal trusses. Exterior facade will be inclusive of fiber cement panels along with brick and coordinated form liners. Interior finishes include but are not limited to wood casework, countertops, drywall partitions, paint, flooring and a complete slate of MEPs. Specialty equipment for the structure includes elevator, slide pole, signage and bath accessories.
