The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation recently held their 2018 Preservation Awards and the UF Newell Hall project received a Meritorious Achievement in the Green Buildings category. Newell Hall is the third oldest building on UF's campus and had previously been vacant since 2012.

Two additional projects win Eagle Awards for Excellence in Construction Ajax Building Corporation has won the prestigious Project of the Year Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) North Florida Chapter for construction of the Sarasota County Emergency Operations Center. The $15.3 million facility was completed by Ajax/Tandem Construction, a Joint-Venture, last February.
