University of Florida Newell Hall Project Receives Meritorious Achievement
May 23, 2018
The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation recently held their 2018 Preservation Awards and the UF Newell Hall project received a Meritorious Achievement in the Green Buildings category. Newell Hall is the third oldest building on UF’s campus and had previously been vacant since 2012. We teamed up with the SchenkelShultz Architecture firm to turn this 115 year old, four story, building into a brand new Learning Commons with Gold Level USGBC standards.
