Sumter County New Service Center
This project consists of a new service center to meet the county’s growing needs as the Villages continue to expand. The Service Center includes a central fire training facility and a fire tower. It will also house the new Commissioners Chambers, offices, public meeting spaces, tax collector, etc. It is intended to be joint use similar to the Sumter Public Safety facility. Also, a portion of the building will be hardened to act as a hurricane shelter.
