University of South Florida College of Nursing

The University of South Florida is a national leader in health professions education, health care delivery and basic clinical research. The Health Care and Education Center project included a 5-year phased plan for the construction of several new facilities that provided a link between the College of Medicine, College of Nursing and the College of Public Health for students and staff involved in these programs. It was divided into several critical elements.  The first was the new College of Nursing facility.

The College of Nursing Project included a new 3-story facility , renovations to the existing College of Nursing facilities and limited renovations to the existing USF Medical Clinic Building. The 94,000 square foot building included medical and nursing testing space, teaching and laboratory space, student study rooms, staff offices, conference facilities and two new state-of-the-art amphitheater lecture halls featuring video conference technology.
