This project was a 29,000 SF expansion to the existing detention center. It is a plant precast concrete structure, consisting of four direct supervision type housing dormitories, each with 64 beds and one 8 bed unit housing for 17 year.
This project consisted of a stand-alone three-story county courthouse of approximately 110,000 gross square feet situated on 19 acres on Avalon Boulevard in Milton. The building houses eight courtrooms, eight judge’s suites and all the necessary support services including a secure holding area for inmates, hearing rooms, a law library, evidence rooms, jury selection and jury deliberation spaces.

The Volusia County Branch Jail is the central inmate intake facility for the Division of Corrections and is located at 1300 Red John Drive in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since the jail opened in 1987, the demand for inmate housing has.
The existing Jail facility in Lancaster County was constructed in 1978. The constant overcrowding of the current facility led the unsafe environment of both inmates and correctional officers.
Built in 1953, the original Okaloosa County Courthouse was no longer able to keep up with the growth and demands of the community. Ajax led the Design-Build team to replace the original courthouse with a new 68,000 SF facility.
The Volusia County Jail, which is located in unincorporated Volusia County midway between Daytona Beach and DeLand, was constructed to address the growth needs of the inmate population of Volusia County. The County planned to expand the jail facilities in.
Putnam Jail Project, which took place on an active and occupied site, consisted of two secure housing pods that now houses approximately 224 beds each. In addition to the new pods, a new Medical and Program Facility was added and the kitchen storage expanded, along with a new freezer.
The Sumter Jail will consist of a one-story, two level tilt panel housing pod building with a total gross square footage of 38,662. The building will have an inmate capacity of 256.

The current 69,756 SF Okeechobee County Jail, originally constructed in 1986, needs several upgrades and two brand-new housing pods. The jail as it is now has a 232 bed capacity between two housing pods which will receive their own upgrades/renovations, and the new pods will each house an additional 224 beds.
