Wekiva Springs Wellness Center for Women
The Wekiva Springs Wellness Center for Women Renovation consisted of the conversion of 12 double occupancy-rooms from residential healthcare to psychiatric care rooms. One of the challenges associated with this project was the undertaking of retrofitting a dated facility to ensure that the current AHCA standards were followed, while staying true to the original budget. Ajax accomplished this by working closely with the architect to identify specific needs or wishes from the owner in order to develop accurate costs and potential savings in the early stages of the project.
Our project team also had the day to day challenges of working within an occupied facility to ensure that the daily operations were not disrupted. This was a highly sensitive center for Women and our team had to be cognizant of that at all times.
Ajax also performed cosmetic renovations to the existing building and added HVAC components to meet current AHCA Standards.
