In September 1997, Ajax was awarded the contract for the Renovations to Building “K”. with architect, Flad & Associates. The 30,000 SF Building “K” houses the school’s main frame and network operations. Then in June 1998, an additional contract was awarded for renovations to Building “G”, also partnering with Flad. The project required complex renovations and required that the computer center remain operational at all times. The 15,000s SF renovations to Building “G” is comprised of developmental instruction labs, support areas and offices. The renovations were completed on time and under budget.
The 24,000 SF Natural Sciences building however was a collaboration with Ponikvar & Associates, Inc. & ICM Engineers and consisted of a new science classroom building, labs, and planetarium.
