Pinellas County Schools Lynch Elementary School
The Lynch Elementary School project was a replacement elementary school on the existing campus. The project included a portable campus which was occupied during construction. The existing campus was demolished except for two buildings. The project included the construction of 6 new buildings totaling approximately 81,948 SF. These buildings include a 2-story administration building, resource/art building, cafeteria/multi-purpose building, 2-story 16 classroom building, 2-story 12 classroom building and a flammable storage building. Renovations included a new mechanical unit, an additional storage room, a new acoustical ceiling/lights/diffusers, the re-painting of the interior, wax flooring and replacement of the floor base. Sitework included new utilities, parking lot and bus loop.
This project earned an ABC Eagle Award of Excellence and the 2012 Best Project of the Year by ENR Southeast.
