Hernando County Schools Challenger K-8 for Science & Mathmatics
This project is a combination elementary and middle school (all in one building) located in Spring Hill, Florida. The 240,000 sf school is situated on 40 acres of undeveloped land.
The east end of the building houses the elementary students and the west end houses the middle school students. The center portion of the building contains the Administration offices and Media Center. There is a large balcony that serves as the main corridor for the center portion of the building and overlooks the large Media Center.
The gymnasium, kitchen and dining areas are shared by both the elementary and middle school students. There is also a separate chiller/maintenance building and P.E. storage building.
