Ajax Building Company, LLC Achieves Platinum in the ABC STEP Safety Management System

Tallahassee, FL Ajax Building Company, LLC announced it has achieved Platinum in Associated Builders and Contractor’s STEP Safety Management SystemGo to Founded in 1989, STEP participation demonstrates safety leadership and a cultural commitment to safety performance. Ajax is proud to have achieved Platinum the last two years (2018 & 2019) and Diamond in 2017.

STEP applicants measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents. Ajax’s commitment to safety has resulted in a Total Recordable Incident Rate of 0.39 for 2020 compared to the most recent construction industry average incident rate of 3.0.
