Tallahassee, FL — Ajax Building Company, LLC announced it has achieved Platinum in Associated Builders and Contractor’s STEP Safety Management SystemGo to https://www.abcstep.org/. Founded in 1989, STEP participation demonstrates safety leadership and a cultural commitment to safety performance. Ajax is proud to have achieved Platinum the last two years (2018 & 2019) and Diamond in 2017.
STEP applicants measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents. Ajax’s commitment to safety has resulted in a Total Recordable Incident Rate of 0.39 for 2020 compared to the most recent construction industry average incident rate of 3.0.
