PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Virgil Mills Elementary School is a new prototype facility comprised of a two story building with approximately 116,000 square feet of educational space.

The school, considered to be a striking combination of an old- fashioned school house with 21st century technology and flair, has a maximum occupancy of 820 student stations. The school is also equipped with card-swipe entry, security cameras and a leading edge security system that allows the facility to be completely locked down in just five seconds with a simple computer keystroke.

The structure is made of exterior masonry walls, concrete floors and steel columns and joists. The sitework consists of a parking lot, retention pond and playing fields.
