PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Callahan Middle School Project will include the following activities:
1. The construction of a 23,000 SF Cafetorium.
2. Complete interior demo, 4,500 square foot addition, and interior build out of the existing cafeteria. The newly renovated space will be a 10 classroom building.
3. Complete reroof of the entire campus- approximately 113,000 square feet including 13 buildings and several covered walkways.
4. Installation of a new tectum panel ceiling in the gymnasium.
5. Site Improvements to the front of the school to include a larger parking lot and new basketball court.
6. Demo and replacement of two existing chillers.

CURRENT STATUS (10/12/09):

Phase I New Cafetorium is complete, ahead of schedule.

Phase II is nearing completion, expected Substantial Completion to be the week of 10-19-09. Owner has targeted move in for November 09, nearly two months earlier than anticipated.
