PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Lynch Elementary School project is a replacement elementary school on the existing campus.  The project includes a portable campus which will be occupied during construction.  The existing campus will be demolished except for buildings 4 & 7.  The project includes the construction of 6 new buildings totaling approximately 81,948 sf.  These buildings include a 2-story administration building, resource/art building, cafeteria/multi-purpose building, 2-story 16 classroom building, 2-story 12 classroom building and a flammable storage building. Building 7 renovations will include a new mechanical unit, an additional storage room, a new acoustical ceiling/lights/diffusers, the re-painting of the interior, wax flooring and replacement of the floor base.
 
Sitework includes new utilities, parking lot and bus loop.  Project is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2011.

CURRENT STATUS (1/1/12):

Building #1 - Completed with punch list ongoing.
Building #2 - Completed with punch list ongoing.
Building #3 - Completed with punch list ongoing.
Building #5 - Completed with punch list ongoing.
Building #6 - Completed with punch list ongoing.

Teachers and students to utilize new buildings January 3 for start of spring semester.

Sitework - Sidewalk work is complete and canopy work is complete with punch work ongoing.  Amphitheater work is complete.  Brick pavers are complete.  Paving and curb installation is complete.  First phase of playground equipment is complete.  Landscaping is complete.  Site handrails are complete.  Phase II demobilization of portables and new playfield to begin this month.
