PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project consists of the demolition, replacement and upgrade of several fume hoods in the FDLE Headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. Along with the new fume hoods, upgrades to the ductwork, plumbing, exhaust fans and associated case work will be included in the project. The fume hoods being replaced are located in four lab areas; Biology Lab, Toxicology Lab, Chemistry Lab and Serology Lab. In addition to the fume hood upgrades, a complete renovation to the Biology Lab will take place. The renovation consists of adding thirteen workstations, upgrading five lab areas, two evidence rooms and a dark room. A complete upgrade to the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems will also be included in the project.

CURRENT STATUS (7/15/08):
Currently we have demolished the existing fumes in the Biology and Chemistry Lab areas. The new fumes in these areas have been install and are being connected to the new exhaust fans. As for the renovation to the Biology Lab, we have completed all the demolition items and install the new walls for the workstations. We are currently working on mechanical, plumbing and electrical rough in.
